The South Suburban Park and Recreation District (SSPRD) is a district that serves the south suburban area of the city of Littleton, CO. The district was formed in 1974 and provides a variety of recreational services to its citizens, including parks and open space, recreation centers, sports facilities, and more.

Attractions
Located just southwest of Denver, the South Suburban Park, and Recreation District is home to nearly 3,800 acres of developed land and more than a hundred parks. It is also home to the 8,80-acre South Platte Park. Several attractions can be found within the district, including the Littleton Museum, which is located on 40 acres adjacent to Ketring Lake. The museum includes three exhibition galleries, a children’s interactive gallery, a research center, a lecture hall, and two living-history sites that recreate a 19th-century life in Littleton.
The community’s recreation center is a hub of activity for all ages. In addition to a therapeutic pool and lazy river, there is cardio equipment and an indoor track for exercise. Classes are also offered.
