The informational placards at this museum really enable a deeper understanding of the art you experience.
The Native American art galleries create a unique sense of being grounded in the true spirit of this land.
Incredible depth and breadth throughout the entire museum. Could have spent all day here if I didn’t need to eat 😂

We had a great time! Expect to spend at least 2 to 3 hours here as there is so much to see. I would invest in the whistler to Cassatt exhibit right now as it was incredible. We had a great time, and there were 7 floors of exhibits available in the second building. Art selection and the ways they were presented was fantastic. Would totally come again if I were in town

Three hours of gawking and learning and soaking up all the fine works here.. and still so much more to see! Very well-thought-out layout of the exhibits featuring contemporary/poignant themes and motifs. Staff on site were all wonderful and helpful.
I got “lost” and “found” several times.. and was awed by the sheer magnitude and skill of all the artists and artisans featured. Thank you D.A.M. !

Fantastic interactive exhibits. 4 fabulous floors, full of history, artifacts, as well as diverse topics. This is probably one of the best historical museums I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!

There’s tons to learn in here, four stories worth of full floors to be exact. It was so fun and informative. I think me and my fiance spent up to four or five hours in there. There’s interactive exhibits, so a lot to do for adults and children!
The cost of tickets were a steal with how much you get to see and do. I also found it interesting how we as guests were included in deciding what we want to see next in the exhibits.

Very cool little piece of history. Very well preserved / restored home of someone who lived a very interesting (and well to do) life. Certainly worth an hour to puts around each room and let your mind wander to the stories of a time gone by. For the most part, restored and set up to display life in 1910. Super friendly and helpful staff and a nice little gift shop. Well done Historic Denver, Inc.

A truly fascinating experience! If you like period drama or history this is like stepping back in time. The recorded tour is informative and the resident historians are willing to answer questions and provide interesting details. The home’s extensive restoration work has been meticulously documented with restoration stories presented along with historical facts about the home and it’s several residents. I found the whole thing very informative and entertaining. Worth the price of admission!!

Under the circumstances, I wish tour guides were available to take us through the house. I feel my father and I left with more questions. I did print out the stuff, however. But, it was good. I have only been there once before when I moved here, I believe in 2015 or 16 my mother and I came. Definitely would do again but I would do the audio and a spare battery pack with head phones.

This church is absolutely stunning. The architecture, the beautiful stained glass, the statues and side altars were so beautifully crafted. The main altar took my breath away. We attended the 10 am Latin Choral Mass and it was so beautifully reverent. The schola choir was magnificent… I felt as if the angels in heaven were indeed singing praise and glory to our Father. The mix of Latin and English was so much appreciated and the use of the communion plate and altar servers guarding the particles of our Lord was wonderful to see. I highly recommend this beautiful church and the 10 am Mass. Fathers homily was relevant filled with truth in charity.

I didn’t expect to like this museum but everything about it is a gem. I don’t “get” abstract expressionism but the curators have done an outstanding job tracing the evolution of this artist and making the art more accessible to the layperson. We spent 1.5 hours and really enjoyed every aspect. The entrance fee is affordable. We engaged in interesting conversation with the staff. I walked out understanding a lot more about an important period of art history.

The Clyfford Still Museum is my favorite museum in Denver. It’s small enough that I can comfortably peruse it, while being much quieter than the DAM. I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the reception staff and staff in the gallery. And the art speaks to me. It’s such a unique experience to see the artist’s work transform over time and in conjunction with world events. My favorite piece is PH-247 1915, or “Big Blue.” If you have the chance to come to Clyfford Still, I highly recommend it.

An intimate journey in his evolution. Even if you are not a fan of modern art you will see how he got to his fullest expression. Sine it is just Still, you can really focus.
Lots more works in the archival area but some of his best works are displayed.
Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I enjoyed the three exhibits that were open. They were put together well and facilitated the artists’ concepts overall. The building and grounds are really gorgeous and nicely kept. Staff were lovely people as well, and everything was easy enough to locate.
My only issue was that two or three major exhibitions were closed and the admission price was still the same. That seemed a little off to me.
I understand museums close, change, and update exhibits, but to have so much of the museum closed off at once makes for a poorer visiting experience.

MCA has been one of my favorite destinations since first moving to Denver. I make it a point to see ever new exhibit. The attendants/docents are knowledgeable and friendly. The museum does a good job of contextualizing even the most experimental installations, making them fun, engaging, and relevant. I have seen visitors of all ages seeming to interact with and enjoy the art. Museum events, parties, teen art workshops, and the rooftop cafe and gift store make this a special museum. Highly recommend

I moved my family to Denver in July 2020. I am a lifelong Christian and was raised in the Episcopal denomination. I have watched many St. John services remotely and mostly like the messages the clergy delivers. It also appears to be a gorgeous cathedral. The reason for giving three stars is this church has not opened its doors to the public / God’s people, since I’ve been here. I am shocked there are still no in person services, other than communion. It is Easter Day 21 and they are doing the service virtually. Not even an attempt to safely bring people back to celebrate the Glory of Jesus in person. Do you believe in God’s love and protection, or not? Do you believe that fellowship is a key pillar of our faith, or not?

We experienced a quiet, peaceful place amid the noise and busyness of the city. The beauty and craftsmanship of the stained glass windows are breathtaking — with imagery leading to adoration and thankfulness. The lovely stonework is so delicate and not gaudy or superfluous — it graces to sanctuary inside and out. The day and hour my wife and I visited was supposedly outside of regular hours, but the helpful security guard kindly offered us entry. He made it clear that the music director was preparing details for a service, so we were instructed to remain quiet. How could we help but take a seat and soak in the lovely organ music wafting in the air. What a gift! What a joy! What a way to worship at the moment!!

What a beautiful basilica! Our Lady of the immaculate conception is the patroness of the United States and the patroness of the Archdiocese of Denver. I had confession going until the our father at mass here on a weekday. They have mass and confession daily. Come early to go to confession at the 7 AM mass or at the 11:15 AM mass.

Had an hour to kill waiting for someone. Saw museum was open and got essential personnel rate ($8). Got through the first floor only in that hour. Plan on visiting again. It is still an operating firehouse without responding equipment. Emergency calls and dispatches can be heard from loudspeaker. The history of DFD is explained and shown in some wonderful pictures and exhibits. Upstairs shows how firefighters lived and worked together. If you get up there share your experience so I will know what to expect.
