Our guides Jordan and Austin were amazing! They were very professional, they knew exactly what to do and when, they knew how to handle people. They were personable and friendly, made sure that everyone was safe in the group and well entertained. They spoke to every single person in the group and they remembered each person’s name, which I thought it was impressive for a group of eight people. I felt extremely safe and well entertained. It was a 2 hour zip-line tour that included some hiking with beautiful views, jokes from our awesome guides, candy, shade on top of the hill, water & taking photos! I would highly recommend this tour and these professional guides Jordan and Austin. Big thank you for such a great experience!

Fun for all ages, although you do have to be a certain height to be able to clip in and out. My 5 year old was able to complete most of the lower level just fine, but needed help with the clips. Most other courses have had continuous runners for this age, but he was fine with me jumping up and down from platform to ground to help with the clips. It would be helpful for them to have more stepstools for this.
The courses were well maintained and the equipment worked perfectly. This course was unique in that it was more of a “web” than a linear “course” – this was good for variety, but bad when it gets busy because everyone is going in different directions. Staff was friendly and was willing to let my wife and I switch out when we found out she was afraid of heights. The height might be an issue for some people; my wife has done several wooded courses without issue, but because of the openness of this one, heights seemed to feel higher, even at lower levels.

Great place for family fun. The entire family enjoyed the experience. The way it is set up even my 11-year-old could enjoy climbing 4 stories high and I didn’t have to worry for his safety. They had a wide variety of interesting courses from easy to hard. If you’re in Denver this is definitely something worth doing.

Great place to walk around, especially if there is a community festival happening. I went to the festival and there were some very good vendors. Lots of art, plenty of food trucks, etc. Castle Rock is a fun, wholesome, town with a great Colorado vibe.

Has a great playground and two pavilions, plus good fields for all kinds of play. The playground is a more advanced, but in my book that is a great thing. Also good for sledding for those not-really-too difficult hills.

I went on a walk at Gateway Mesa, it was so fun! Close to town so we only drove a few minutes to get there and it has great flora and views to make the hike fun. It has some climbs/steps, goes through two rocks that become a “narrows”, winds around an area where a truck fell from a cliff above, etc. There is a longer trail that I didn’t go on, but the shorter one was great. Perfect for a little morning pick-me-up before starting on the day.

One of the best hole in the wall trails I think I have ever been on you can go there for every season and it is a different experience every time some of the trail may be harder to walk including the part where you have to get through the rocks and back up above the entire trail if you’re looking for something easy that doesn’t require having a park pass this is definitely one of those places

A great hike and view. Good time for the whole family. You can see for miles all around you and also have a great view of the surrounding mountains. Definitely a must see and worth the hike up. A great day of views and hiking with my daughter and her friend from Missouri. It was an amazing time and check out the views.

This hike is a gem between Colorado Springs and Denver. It is easy access off I-25. The hiking trail is smooth, and it is a steady, but reasonable incline. There are really amazing views of the surrounding town, and of the rock itself. In October, we had really great fall colors. I would rate the hike as easy-intermediate.

Great little hike. Most of the trail up is in afternoon and evening sun with no shade. To reach peak you will have to Boulder and scramble some, climbing experience and good shape required. Start at Do Not Climb sign on top loop and go to the right. You’ll see bars from old stairs on left, DO NOT go that way. Right has safe chimney and bomber hand holds. Take your time and have fun.

The museum is housed in the 1875 ATSF railroad depot, moved from its original location. Railroad memorabilia and a trove of Castle Rock and Douglas County history. Guided tour lasts 15 minutes or as long as you have questions. Staffed by volunteer historians- our guide was happy to research my question and email me information I’d been unable to find online.

I have been to this place a few times and every time I do I always find something to do there that I haven’t before. If you have a little extra cash to spend I’d definitely recommend coming here. It also has a little workout park that you can use for free and hike the 200 stairs. It definitely gives you something to work for!

Excellent event space for weddings/family reunions/corporate gatherings. If you’re a bride looking to book for your wedding, the bride’s getting ready space is a 10×10′ storage closet and the grooms getting ready space is the bathrooms. Clean. Spacious. Well managed.

Met up with a few friends to ride the trails. Beautiful views and really nice single track. The trails are starting to show some deep cuts of the many riders but still in excellent condition hiking, running or riding. The benches at a few spots are also a nice touch for those looking to stop and enjoy the views.
