Dad Clark Park is one of the most popular parks near Highlands Ranch. It’s located near downtown and has plenty of green space for a family day out, as well as playgrounds and courts. There are also fishing spots at this lake-front park.
Dad Clark Park was built on top of a landfill from the 1890s to 1930s. It was named after William Dad Clark, a city councilor from the 1950s. The park has been renovated several times since then, most recently in 2007.

There’s plenty of space to run around, plus playgrounds and a basketball court to keep them entertained. And if you’re feeling energetic, you can even take a dip in the lake or go fishing.
